Sky Sports and ESPN

We like a good rugby or football match as much as anyone, but we're also conscious of our guests who like to come in for a quiet drink with friends or a good home-cooked meal.  At The Tharp Arms we have two bars, the Lounge bar with dining area and the Public Bar, where our bands play and where the television is for live, televised sports.

At the end of 2009 we had Sky Sports installed in the bar, including ESPN, and can show all the big league games as they run.  However, from the start of May we have decided to cancel the ESPN portion of our sporting package with Sky.  More information about this decision is available on our blog by clicking here.  The remaining Sky Sports package is still available in The Public Bar.
