Any good village pub has a good selection of village pub games and, once you've got the games up and running, you end up with teams who want to compete.
People at the The Tharp Arms revel in the fun of these games and, as such, we have teams that regularly play in local leagues for Darts, Petanque, Dominoes and Cribbage.
If you fancy turning your hand at any of these games, would like to join a team or simply want to pop along to cheer our teams on, please feel free to do so.
To find out when we're playing simply call in at the pub and we'll give you all the information you need.
Of course, you don't need to be a member of the team to play, however. Darts, sets of dominoes, packs of cards and spare sets of petanque balls are all readily available at the bar if you just want to come along for a drink and some fun.
We don't just play games, either. We also take part every other Sunday in the National Quiz, where we compete in eight rounds of questions against other pubs up and down the country for kudos and prizes.
